I should have ordered one size larger than the one I ordered, it was very difficult to get them over my boot. They add weight to an already heavy work boot, but other than that they worked fine just made my legs tired at the end of the day.
Great boot BUT.....
So ordered these because of the extra heavy duty sole of boot, do a lot of walking on commercial properties spraying weeds, gravel and blacktop surfaces. normally they will hold up for a season or two depending. This was first time ordering this particular boot. Unfortunately the sizing chart if a bit off a Large should be right for fit. I wear a size 10 1\2 -11 mens hiking boot, Merrill or Keen, fit was too sloppy in toe area to wear. So if anyone is looking at size chart ponder carefully. Fortunately another guy at work was able to wear this pair, I'll order a new pair one size down. They look much more rugged than the normal ones that many get and will hold up I'm sure very well. Thanks Chris
new england view
I thought I already responded. My point was that Totes are no longer available, so I was directed to these. Our New England Winters really do require protection on this level. Winter has been light, but we're due for a massive burying in show soon..
Waterproof, but tough to wear
These are, as stated, 100% waterproof. Probably best for jobs that don’t require miles of walking, as they are heavy. My main issue is that I could not put my boots on and then put the overboots over them, I had to put the boots in the overboots and then put my feet in both, meaning I could not lace up my boots, which has left everything loose fitting enough to cause serious chaffing on my ankles and calves (I’m a mail man, so I walk 10-15 miles a day-chaffing can be seriously bad). Might be a sizing issue, but it does seem to be the correct size otherwise. Probably best if you don’t have to wear them for 10 hours a day.
Good boots thank you
