Tingley Launches the Narwhal™ for Optimal Heat Retention a jacket that can keep up with you in the coldest weather

Tingley is excited to announce a revolutionary new addition of high visibility insulated offering with the Narwhal™ heat retention jacket. This innovative new winter style keeps Tingley at the forefront of evolving workwear trends.

“You can’t take the day off for rain or snow and you need a jacket that can keep up with you,” says Meg Bowser, Product Manager for Tingley.

A new twist on the classic barn jacket, the Narwhal is engineered with an ANSI/ISEA 107 Type R Class 3 compliant outer fabric and a Thermoficient™ inner lining that reflects the wearer’s own body heat back to them for optimum comfort while working in harsh weather conditions.

“Tingley’s newest insulated option is engineered to maximize warmth and minimize bulk. One of the biggest misconceptions with cold weather workwear is that more weight equals more warmth, but a heavy jacket can really weigh you down while you’re trying to work and lead to fatigue. A loftier, lighter insulation will retain heat better than a dense, heavy fabric and take some of the weight of your shoulders,” explains Bowser.

The Narwhal jacket offers the highest level of performance for low visibility conditions for workers in areas exposed vehicular traffic or struck-by hazards with fluorescent yellow-green background material and reflective tape. The rugged 300 denier PU on polyester shell provides waterproof protection for all weather conditions.

Tingley protective footwear and clothing have been protecting generations since 1896 and are available in the US and Canada.
